Originally established in 1972 by Juan Garcia, Embrujo brought the tastes and sounds of Spain to Toronto. The original location quickly became a hot bed for Flamenco artists to gather and enjoy Spanish arts and cuisine. After Juan retired, his son José re-launched Tapas at Embrujo on the Danforth, and his rustic flavours and presentation are true to the authentic tapas experience. He even brings in weekly traditional Spanish Flamenco entertainment from Spain.
